We would like to inform you about Energy, Construction & Green Economy Trade Fair that will take place on November 11-12, 2022 at the Palace of Congresses, in the centre of Tirana, Albania. This trade fair is supported by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy in Albania ant it will serve as the widest communication platform between key actors in the sectors such as energy, construction and green economy in the region. The future, security and sustainability of these sectors is key for the economy of Albania and the region.
The Energy and Construction Fair will focus on important issues such as renewable energy, energy efficiency throughout the energy cycle in all the sectors, technologies, construction efficiency and environmental impact. This platform will promote communication and collaboration between investors, developers and consultants. The approach of this fair is regional, extending to Europe as the potential for investment mainly in energy is very high.

The energy and construction sectors are two of the main engines of the Albanian economy. Albania produces at least 90% of its electricity from hydropower. Nevertheless, new challenges are emerging, such as climate change, trade and economic conflicts, have brought to attention the need to diversify energy sources (solar and wind). Construction likewise requires more efficient solutions. Global trends toward digitalization, creating modern and environmentally friendly technologies – to increase efficiency, reduce costs and pollution; to increase alternative and more efficient forms of its production and use; to have a better management of water and ventilation systems; to have less polluting constructions and infrastructure, more value, lower cost and higher longevity – are Albanians challenges as well. There is a real need for increasing awareness about the profitability of renewable technologies and their added value in terms of private businesses. At a macro level, there is a need to develop a strategy in terms of investments, set of skills and employment. Addressing these challenges and also the demand to diversify the channels that enable growth in the energy and construction sector in Albania by enhancing and increasing networking and relationships with regional and global partners is the main objective of the Energy, Construction & Green Economy Trade Fair.
