Constantin von Alvensblen, Voltalia
My name is Constantin von Alvensblen, I am the country manager of Voltalia in Albania, and today I am participating in the conference "Energy, Construction, and Green Economy" in Tirana, at the Palace of Congresses.
It is a very interesting exhibition, as is the conference that we are having today. Many companies display their products and services; it is a place where you can meet people and exchange ideas. In addition, there is a conference with many interesting speakers and discussion about the current situation of the energy industry, especially in Albania, trends in the industry, etc. I was happy to make a presentation of Volitalia, a worldwide company in the developement of green economy energy that has been very active in Albania since 2020. Voltalia has two big photovoltaic projects in Albania, one in Karavasta and one in Spitalle, close to Durrës. These projects are progressing very well. I was able to present these projects and meet many people from the industry. It was a very nice day. Thank you very much.

Teja Avdijaj, KOMPAS DMC
According to World tourism barometer, Albania has the highest increase (+19%) in Europe and second in the world in International tourist arrivals. It is great news to us all that Albania is finally getting international recognition and receiving well-deserved, worldwide attention. “But is Albania ready for the tourist boom?” Last week, I joined the Tourism and Travel Show in Tirana and had the honour to speak on the panel about this topic alongside Mr Sean Taggart from ETOA - European tourism association, Mrs Kornelia Ferizaj from National Tourism Agency of Albania, Mr Kliton Gërxhani from ATOA, Mrs Cheryl Everitt from A Wheel and Away moderated by Mr Tine Murn from New Deal Europe. Kompas has been present for many years in Albania, and we have had quite a journey seeing it develop and head in the right direction to be one of the most popular destinations in Europe - even the World!
Therefore, in the forum I highlighted:
-the importance of Education of staff employed in the tourism sector in Albania
-the importance and awareness of tourism sustainability
-how to avoid mass tourism and make sure Albania does not lose authenticity but still turn profits
-the slow progress from being one of the “most affordable” destinations to one of the “most wanted” destinations
- suggesting that Albanian suppliers cooperate with international tourism associations to see what international tour operators and tourists need and expect from the country
-protecting the domestic, guaranteed tourism
-development of infrastructure for inland cities/villages - not exclusively the Albanian riviera
Thank you for organization and invitation Tine Murn and Robert Dee from New Deal Europe. Linkedin Post

The Agriculture Trade, which is organised for the first time in Lushnje - Albania's main agro hub - was impressive. Farmers are aware of their challenges, but cautiously optimistic about their future. Albania's agriculture has had an impressive growth in the last 10 years. Yet, most of its potential remains untapped. Key to success is automation and digitalisation of agribusinesses for faster growth. Happy to see that many agribusinesses are exporting in the Western Balkans now.
Next year will be a greater event!
Katia Stathaki, CEO, Vodafone Albania, Tirana, Albania
Vodafone Albania took part in the National Trade Fair of Agriculture Days in the city of Lushnja, which took place in person for the first time after two years.
Vodafone, being the only company in the country to offer digital solutions for #SmartAgriculture, showcased live examples of applications of such solutions to companies in this sector. In this digital age, technology is breaking its way into every industry, including the agriculture industry. Through digital solutions adapted by Vodafone, Albanian farmers can now use digital farming to make decisions that will yield sustainable and profitable produce.
I’m excited about the future of the agriculture sector in Albania and the amazing advances that it can bring and I want to congratulate the organizers on this three-day fair that brought opportunities to bridge businesses, encourage new partnerships and collaborations.

I think that this fair will be an added value for Albanian agriculture and the city of Lushnje.
We hope that many young people in Lushnje will appreciate this event, have one more motivation to become part of the agricultural industry. I also hope that this event will prevent the migration of young people to other countries, giving them hope and new ideas to invest in their country.
I think that the organization was very good, in a very good period and time where we all felt good and different.
We thank the organizers for giving us the opportunity to participate.
